With over 500 satisfied participants, I’ve been fortunate to witness many discover their own connection with nature through the lens.

My work has been recognized and awarded on national and international platforms, encouraging me to dream bigger and expand globally. Living close to the wild, tracking elusive animals, and capturing the untamed beauty of nature is not just my profession — it’s my way of life.

I’m Abhisek Acharya — a wildlife photographer born and raised in the beautiful state of Odisha, India. My connection with nature began in childhood, spending countless hours exploring forests and observing animals in their natural habitat. This deep love for the wild gradually shaped my life's path.

My journey into photography started during my college days. With just a mobile phone in hand and an unshakable passion, I began capturing moments that spoke to my soul. Borrowing cameras from friends and participating in college competitions, I was honoured with the "Best Photographer of the Year" award — a turning point that fueled my determination to pursue photography more seriously.

After experimenting with various rented cameras and lenses, I finally invested in my first DSLR — the Canon 7D Mark II — in 2016, marking the official beginning of my professional photography career. I tried my hand at pre-wedding and product shoots, but something was missing — the connection, the excitement, the purpose.

That changed the day I photographed a bird.

What started as a simple click turned into a calling. The joy of capturing birds and small animals near my hometown rekindled my childhood bond with nature. From that moment, wildlife photography became my true passion. I embraced it fully in 2019, renting advanced gear to create powerful images of the wild.
